We find that the 12 Step recovery models and Buddhist philosophies are very complimentary. We are currently using the book "A Burning Desire" by Kevin Griffin as a center of the group. However, we'd like it if anyone came. Nobody needs to be in recovery from drugs or alcohol or even have a copy of the current book in order to attend. Just your presence is requested and we guarantee to pique your interest!

Each of us has our own life experiences which have brought us to this point, and each of us must walk a distinct path. This group is designed for people interested in the intersection of mindfulness, meditation and 12 step recovery. Anyone involved in any type of 12 step recovery is invited. We sit for 30 minutes, introduce ourselves, take a short break, then reassemble and offer a reading, then open the meeting to shares. We meet promptly at 7 pm and end at 8:30 pm every 3rd Friday of the month and are donation based.
A safe place to discuss and celebrate issues of faith and explore Biblical truths. Mememers of the group are spritual seekers seeking to grow spiritually. Many memebers are involved in various 12 step programs. Discussions are lightly Bible based and often use many other spritual sources such as Case for Faith, the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and the Life Recovery Bible.
